After several years with minimal development the interactive maps were long overdue for an upgrade. How many people are still using Navigator 4 these days?! Of course the old code written for MSIE 4/5 still works in version 6 but with other platforms and browsers (finally) taking market share from MS Windows / Internet Explorer it seems like a good idea to support them. It's great that most of these rival browsers are reasonably compatible even to the point of similar event handling - necessary for the drag and drop operations used to move around the map.

So the map now features a new javascript api intended to work with all recent browsers. If it doesn't work in yours please contact us and we'll try to work it out...
