Naturally, designing and maintaining this site takes time and effort, and the hosting for it costs money too! The use of advertising on the maps pays some of these costs, along with the subscription service that comes without ads.

In the end though the most important reason for creating this site and releasing the maps free is to demonstrate that it can be done!
